Info Post
Last month, Lisa Stiles-Shell posted an item on U.S. communities that are interested in hosting new nuclear power plants. She noted that "76% of people living within 10 miles of an existing nuclear power plant are willing to have a new reactor built near them."

Our friends in Korea seem to have done even better. They recently held an election in which four cities competed to win the country's first repository for low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste. The winner was Gyeongju, where 70.8 percent of eligible voters turned out and 89.5 percent of them supported siting the repository in their city.

It's a landslide victory for nuclear technology!
