Join the Debate Over at Sustainablog

There's an interesting debate going on about the future of nuclear energy over at Sustainablog, so stop by and feel free to add your two cents:

I don't have nearly enough of a scientific background to claim with certainty that nuclear power can't ever be safe and affordable. But I do know that there's plenty of credible information out there that flies directly in the face of the claims the nuclear energy industry makes.

Here at NEI, we actually do have plenty of folks with the sort of background in science, engineering, business and economics to make those sorts of arguments -- which is why we get aggressive when it comes to taking a hard look at the claims of anti-nuclear activists, and point out glaring errors and willful distortions when we need to.

If you do stop by and comment, please be polite. Despite his opposition to our positions, Jeff, the editor of Sustainablog, has been very kind to hear us out, something I'm grateful for, and he should know that he would be treated the same way here at NEI Nuclear Notes.
