Info Post
Carl Pope of the Sierra Club -- a charter member of the "no solutions gang" -- trotted out the tired anti-nuclear talking points recently and threw in an attack on Patrick Moore to boot, but I bet he didn't count on responses like Steve Snyder's:
I strongly urge Pope --— and open-minded Sierrans --— to consider a realistic growth in the use of nuclear power, rather than demonizing people like Patrick Moore, and myself, as "“nuke cheerleaders,"” with a pejorative taint.
As I've written before, there's more support out there than some folks might imagine.
