Ted Garrish, former acting director of the Department of Energy'’s (DOE) Office of Civilian Radioactive Waste Management, has been hired by CH2M Hill:
CH2M HILL, an international engineering services firm based here, announced that Theodore "Ted" Garrish has joined the company as vice president of federal operations and strategic planning. Operating out of the company'’s Washington, DC office, Garrish will concentrate on various market sectors and disciplines including nuclear, federal; facilities, natural gas and environmental services.

"We look forward to benefiting from the innovative thinking and industry expertise Ted brings to the table," said Jim Ferris, President and Group Chief Executive for CH2M HILL's Federal and Industrial Client Groups. "His knowledge and experience will be a strong asset to both our federal and commercial clients."”
Garrish officially retired from his former post on May 13, 2005.
