Abstract:
This seminar is intended to review radiation safety concerns and incidents over the past half-century in the medical field, industrial radiography, and the nuclear industry. The analysis will include a brief review of radiobiology, definitions of critical exposures, and a summary of plans for possible radiation accidents at UT Medical Center.
