Many adults in the United States believe more nuclear reactors would be beneficial for their country, according to a poll by Bloomberg and the Los Angeles Times. 61 per cent of respondents support the increased use of nuclear power as a source of energy in order to prevent global warming.
Here's the question exactly how it was phrased by the pollsters:
One suggestion for reducing the problem of global warming is to increase the use of nuclear power as a source of energy and to decrease the use of fossil fuels, such as oil and natural gas. Would you, personally, support or oppose the increased use of nuclear power as a source of energy in order to prevent global warming?
