Here's a summary of what went on in the energy markets last week:

Electricity prices decreased throughout the country last week (see pages 1 & 2). Gas prices fell at the Henry Hub decreasing $0.73 to $5.75 / MMBtu (see page 4).

Catawba 1, Sequoyah 2 and Waterford 3 finished their refueling outages last week. Brunswick 2 was down shortly after an automatic scram (see pages 2 & 3).

From 2007-2011, the current capacities in the pipeline coming into operation are 51,212 MW for coal; 45,664 MW for natural gas; and 25,521 MW for wind (see page 8).
