Here's a summary of what went on in the energy markets last week:

Electricity prices were mixed last week (see pages 1 & 2). Gas prices at the Henry Hub fell $0.70 to $6.66/MMBtu (see page 4).

From 2006-2010, the current capacities in the pipeline coming into operation are 40,193 MW for natural gas, 36,146 MW for coal and 17,943 MW for wind (see page 7).

Nuclear capacity availability was at 78 percent last week. Twelve units were in refueling outages, three units completed refueling outages last week and seven units were shutdown for maintenance (see pages 2 and 3).
