Exelon Nuclear’s 10 generating stations, which includes the Quad-City station in Cordova, Ill., set a new company record this summer by operating at 98.1 percent of their summer capacity factor.Congrats to the team at Exelon for a job well done.
The new company-best — which marked the third record in four years — outpaced the previous record by nearly a full percentage point. The previous record of 97.3 percent was set in September 2004.
