More Nuclear Energy Hearings on the Hill

Two more hearings we're watching today:

The Senate Environment and Public Works Subcommittee on Clean Air, Climate Change and Nuclear Safety will hold a hearing regarding NRC's responsibilities in complying with used nuclear fuel legislation and appropriations at 9:30 a.m. in 406 Dirksen.

We already have copies of testimony from NEI CEO Skip Bowman and Ward Sproat, director of the Yucca Mountain Project (PDF) and Luis Reyes of NRC. Here's a press release summarizing Bowman's testimony.

The Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Energy and Water will hold a hearing on the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership at 10:00 a.m. in 138 Dirksen.
