Here's a summary of what went on in the energy markets last week:

Electricity prices were decreasing throughout the country last week (see pages 1 & 2). Gas prices at the Henry Hub fell $.60 to $6.41/MMBtu (see page 4).

Nuclear capacity availability averaged 97% last week. Kewaunee is the first reactor to go into a refueling outage for the second half of 2006. Beaver Valley 1, Browns Ferry 3, Clinton, Seabrook and Vogtle 1 were down for maintenance (see pages 2 & 3).

Uranium prices (from UxC and TradeTech) jumped to $52.00/lb U3O8 (see page 7).
